ISC Releases Vermont’s Roadmap to Resilience

The Institute for Sustainable Communities (ISC) today released “Vermont’s Roadmap to Resilience,” an outline of practical recommendations designed to help Vermont community leaders prepare for the impacts of climate change.

At a press conference at the State of Vermont Emergency Operations Center in Waterbury, ISC officials joined Shumlin Administration officials, including Secretary of Administration Jeb Spaulding and a number of agency officials, Green Mountain Power’s Robert Dostis and Brian Shupe of the Vermont Natural Resources Council  to review the recommendations, which were developed through a comprehensive 18-month process with government, nonprofit and business leaders from around the state.
