Event Description:

A nor’easter storm along with a frigid cold mass impacted Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine, December 9 – 10, 2014.

Summary of Hazards:

Coastal Flooding, Inland Flooding, High Winds, Precipitation, Ice Storms, Freeze Conditions

Summary of Impacts: 

Estimated 30,000 people without power at peak impact.
Currently estimated that 6,000  remain without power, all of whom are forecast to experience below freezing temperatures tonight

Isolated flooding reported in New Jersey and New York.
